Kate Cooper
Kate is currently Director of Social at ROI Digital Group where she is leading the Government’s digital communications strategy for London 2012.
In 2009 Kate was seconded to Cabinet Office where she was Head of Social Media and is now an advisor to the Government on web 2.0 strategy.
Prior to this Kate spent 10 years in media and marketing working within the FMCG, retail, publishing, pharmaceutical & public sector for companies such as FT, Conde Nast, News International and AMV Group.
Kate also works extensively on talent development in the digital space through Digital Training Company’s training and coaching programmes. Kate’s specialism is senior level digital coaching where she works with government ministers, C-level executives and high profile individuals to build digital expertise with a specific focus on personal brand through social media and online PR and digital business strategy.

Jay Cooper
Jay has 20 years experience of Direct Marketing, CRM, Digital & Mobile. Currently Director of Mobile at ROI Digital Group where he is leading the mobile strategy for both public sector and blue chip clients. Prior to joining ROI, Jay was Head of Retail at Blyk, the ad-funded mobile youth network for 16-24 year olds which was bought by Orange in 2009.
Jay has extensive experience of customer communications having set up and sold Worldwide Media Group in the 90s and is now one of the pioneers of customer marketing through mobile in Europe.
Jay is also founder of the influential digital community Digital Lounge which is the UK’s premier digital networking group.
